Jae brings over 14 years of performance coaching and communications training to the AskRomeo team, and has been coaching in the dating & relationships niche since 2006. He oversees the company’s strategic direction, marketing activities, partnerships, and culture. He also runs many of the live group trainings and seminars.

Jeffrey Platts is a coach, writer, and workshop facilitator who is passionate about helping men and women get back to their power as they connect more deeply and live authentic lives that truly inspire them. Melanie Curtin
Director of Women’s Workshops
Melanie holds a BA and MA in Communication from Stanford and is passionate about healthy sexuality, dating, and relationships. She has served in a number of capacities, including Managing Director of a NYC-based start-up non-profit dedicated to ending the cycle of sexual abuse in the Jewish community.
Melanie is committed to helping others achieve the success they want in their relationships with their own sexuality as well as connection with others, and truly believes sex cannot be removed from the spiritual path. Find out more at her

Sandy RosenblattManager of Client Programs
Sandy graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in health and human development (family studies) and a minor in women studies. She also serves as Executive Director of Avalon Homes, overseeing care and treatment for people suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Sandy is an adventure junkie with a soft-but no-nonsense coaching style, who drives her students to improve themselves even when their own insecuirites are holding them back… When coaching, she applies “a strong hand in a velvet glove”.

Allen has been a student of psychology, sociology, and women’s studies since 1999, and coaching men and women since 2006.
Allen’s coaching style is direct and blunt, balanced with fun and excitement. He believes that it is that balance of openness and adventure that invariably leads to success.
Pete Waters
Chief Operating Officer
Pete is a former Navy jet navigator and carrier aviator turned civilian pilot and FAA Flight Instructor. He also teaches Physics to aspiring doctors and is pursuing a musical education focusing on piano and bass guitar, as well as occasionally providing articles as a Contributing Writer to popular Washington, DC lifestyle site KStreetKate.net.
Pete brings 21 years of military leadership and organizational experience to AskRomeo and its clients, as well as an ability to troubleshoot problems and identify sticking points for our students. He lives life to the fullest and his mission is to teach others to do so as well, so that they can also truly live a life they love.

Ellen has a background in Psychology with a focus in Social Psychology and gender issues. She has a long history of informal coaching under her belt, and she brings fresh perspective to the areas of dating and relationships.

Coleman Osborne

Coleman is not only a dating coach but also a professional martial artist (and a skilled dancer). He served in the United States Army for six years and is currently working towards a degree in business management.
Coleman has led motivational seminars for children and teens in the Los Angeles area and seeks to help and inspire the youth of tomorrow.
Callista BarteeDating Coach
Callista has been working with Ask Romeo since 2008. She believes understanding and owning one’s identity is key to breakthrough in various life circumstances and she is passionate about helping people be who they were made to be.
In addition to her work with AskRomeo, she works with youth in her community and is currently a full time student.

Ivy has over 15 years of coaching experience, and has worked for fortune 500 companies and a prominent university. She is also an accomplished Salsa Dancer, and gives male clients a clearly communicated female perspective on their progress.
